What do you think about this combination of both options? I think that the 
two ones are correct.

A honeypot is a security resource operated to monitor its probe, attack or 
compromise by entities who are unauthorized, or have reason to believe they 
are unauthorized, to use those resources.
(The omitted goal of this resource is to improve the understanding of the 
blackhat community techniques).
