New e-mail attack using valid webmail accounts

I discovered a spam attack at our university this week using a valid webmail account. The email that was sent out was a classic Nigerian scam email and the login to send out the email came from somewhere in Africa. I managed to stop half of the emails from going out. After I disabled the account I saw another attempt to login to the same account from somewhere in Virginia. -- Brother Kenneth Arnold Director of Network Systems Christian Brothers University (901) 321-4333
