Yep, which is why I advocate the latter and not the former.  Depends what
the intended result is, "wow your scary, you can do awesome stuff and now I
don't trust you" or "wow thats scary, thanks for showing me that and helping
me understand why i need to change my habits".

This difference in approach also plays into how you interact with upper
management and getting their support for security initiatives, not just
friends and family.
