The TAPI identification is not as robust as it should be, but with each
rev, it has improved each time.
It still does not recognize a Livingston Portmaster or AS5300 correctly,
but I heard they are working on correcting this.

In addition to GUI configuration and comprehensive reporting, PhoneSweep
will also attempt system-type identification and brute-force penetration.
It's been a while since I looked at ToneLoc, but I'm not sure if its last
release had these features.

I haven't run into any bugs with PhoneSweep (using v1.03 and earlier).
