I would check out the http://netsmartz.org site. They have a wealth of info on these topics and a lot of kid friendly
videos you could reference. If you'd like some more info you could reach out to one of the helpful member on staff.
They are pretty good people

Hi guys (and galls?),

I'm writing a paper about setting up a computer for kids using Linux and
educational software like gCompris. I want to put this on my personal site.
The part I'm struggling with is about identity theft and posting
personal information. Situations like a kid who puts his address and
pictures of the interior of the whole house on line.
I'm looking for good examples where children put information on line
that can be used for malicious purposes be it on a site, e-mail, chat or
otherwise.

This info is needed to explain what info can and can not be shared on
line. Telling people not to share anything is not an option I'm afraid. ;-)

Thanks for your help.

Bert
