You probably just need to spend a few hours digging through
http://www.netsmartz.org/Parents .

Then, I would contact the folks that run that site and see if the FBI is
going to have a "Train the Trainer" session near you. I've been to the TtT
and it's remarkably good.

Hi guys (and galls?),

I'm writing a paper about setting up a computer for kids using Linux and
educational software like gCompris. I want to put this on my personal site.
The part I'm struggling with is about identity theft and posting
personal information. Situations like a kid who puts his address and
pictures of the interior of the whole house on line.
I'm looking for good examples where children put information on line
that can be used for malicious purposes be it on a site, e-mail, chat or
otherwise.

This info is needed to explain what info can and can not be shared on
line. Telling people not to share anything is not an option I'm afraid. ;-)

Thanks for your help.

Bert
