Yes, it would definately take a lot of patience to really make an indepth fake *NIX box.  Well, who knows perhaps there 
will be a "fakeNIX" distribution released which boots off a floppy...that would make great use of a doorstop computer.

Then you could populate it with a lot of fake data, bogus MySQL ecomm DBs with 100's of fake generated creditcards, 
etc.  Even ifya only lure kids in, it would still be fun.  Ah the memories of CAT'ing or WRITEing to the TTY and playin 
with kids.  BS'in them that I am on the horn with the local telco and that the authorities are gonna nab them hah!
