I don't know if there will be lawsuits or not. Regardless, Sam Club's has
a major security problem if a 10-year kid can get into their gun safe.

Boy, 10, gets locked in gun safe at Sam's Club

By Globe Staff

A 10-year-old boy spent some 15 minutes locked inside a 5-foot-tall gun
safe at a Sam's Club in Worcester on Monday after playing with the
touch-pad
combination while his mother was shopping.

Of course it was Sam's Club's fault - why would anyone write a ticket for
the mother? After all, don't all parents abdicate their parental
responsibilities when entering a store?! I feel a lawsuit coming on -
against Sam's Club for having dangerous storage devices on the sales
floor;
Winchester for making a gun safe without an internal exit handle and the
sheriff's department for making the boy wait 5 minutes. Then, after the
lawsuits, there will be legislation...oh boy, what fun that will be.
