We are planning to switch to Comodo via the InCommon service. (We currently use a mix of Thawte and GoDaddy certificates.) I think the InCommon pricing will be about break-even for us (a small liberal arts college) and the immediate advantages are one-stop shopping and a centralized web interface. The long-term advantages are unlimited certs and the potential to use other InCommon services.
