InCommon.org is saving us time, resources and money. There are a few reasonable fees to contend with, but well worth it for unlimited ssl certs. The cost savings could be significant and at the very least, worth checking out. https://www.incommon.org/cert/ http://www.incommon.org/docs/guides/faq.html Jay ----- Original Message ----- From: "Rob Tanner" <rtanner () LINFIELD EDU> To: SECURITY () LISTSERV EDUCAUSE EDU Sent: Tuesday, January 11, 2011 3:43:34 PM Subject: [SECURITY] Certificate vendors Certificate vendors We are currently using Thawte for all our certificates and Thawte is pretty pricey. Comodo’s pricing, by comparison, seems almost to good to be true. Is anybody using Comodo for their SSL certificates and have you anything particularly positive to say or, and more to the point, any warnings or red flags?
