Re: Extremely High Spam Statistics

Our spam rates run between 60%-85% spam depending on the volume of real mail - the amount of spam we get remains pretty
constant at between 1.1 and 1.4 million
per day.

Are other institution's spam levels this high? I would be very
interested in hearing stats as I thought global rates were only around
90-95%.

We deliver around 3 million messages per day to users inboxes, 87%-93% of which we identify as spam and filter to a
spam folder on a regular basis.

That doesn't include the very very large number of attempted deliveries from SMTP servers that try to pipeline data
which are blocked, or the 20%-25%
messages which are discarded at our edge servers due to an extremely high spam score.
