Are other institution's spam levels this high? I would be very interested in hearing stats as I thought global rates were only around 90-95%.
We deliver around 3 million messages per day to users inboxes, 87%-93% of which we identify as spam and filter to a spam folder on a regular basis. That doesn't include the very very large number of attempted deliveries from SMTP servers that try to pipeline data which are blocked, or the 20%-25% messages which are discarded at our edge servers due to an extremely high spam score.
