Slightly stickier is the question of how to deal with all the *small* stuff
that a laptop user may accumulate - it's probably a *reasonable* thing for a
professor to use a laptop - but then he starts accumulating folders of mail
when he runs Outlook, and Microsoft Word documents relating to his advisees and
students (everything from disciplinary reports to letters of recommendation for
prospective employers).  Dealing with FERPA-protected cruft will require some
careful planning...
