As u know, change the password to mail box. Better to run the
AV/malware/spyware detectiontools the system that you last time used
to go to your mail box. It is also possible that your mail box is not
actually compromised. Incase you are using your service providers smtp
server, check up with them. If that server is an open-relay someone
might be spoofing your mail address to send spam mails.
