Before we get more folks going down this line of thought...
go and read the link provided.  Yes, you can expect a certain
amount of spyware behaviour from an app designed to track your
surfing habits.  However, they're being accused of collecting things
like usernames, passwords, dialup numbers, etc... which (IMHO)
they have no business doing.

I'd like folks to concentrate on that aspect for this discussion.
