That is very true.

Protocol dissectors, in Analyzer, are completely based on XML.
And not only protocol dissectors.
So, I don't agree with you.

Different groups of people may have different needs.
If you want to manage large files, probably XML is not for you. For other
purposes (e.g. post-processing) XML may be an excellent choice.
