I have heard several rumors that Verizon may offer an iPhone.  It's
different hardware (CDMA, not GSM). But if it's AT&T that's causing
the issue, then you may want to wait wait until the next gen iPhones
are announced.


A lot of people are raving about the Nexxus One. One complaint is that
it tends to launch (without the owner knowing why) applications which
can degrade the phone service. All those plug-ins and extensions
consume CPU, and one person says he goes to the task manager and kills
these applications "all the time."
