Sorry that I missed the exploits for the ZyXEL stuff.

Good catch Kim.

I would be careful of the Zyxel equipment, there where plenty exploits for
them out.

Sonicwall is an excellent entry level SOHO and has loads of options.

I used their systems to connect a small company at many national locations
and because I was diligent in reviewing its reporting functions I stopped
them from being a victim of Blaster and other internet based attacks.

I would endorse Sonicwall, Watchgaurd and ZyXEL. All are great products
for your need and have excellent web sites, support etc.

I'm looking for a SOHO router for a friends small business of about 20
nodes. They currently have a Cisco 1800 series but they aren't a fan
of the CLI or SDM web interface so they're on the hunt for something
else. The main issue is when there is a configuration problem the
device is too complex for the average user to manipulate. They were
previously using a Linksys product but found the phone support to be a
little on the weak side. They would like to product to support VPN and
two VLANS...

Anyone use a 3com, Nortel, Adtran, Sonicwall or WatchGuard product and
have a positive experience with the devices functionality and
usability?

Thanks,
Stephen
