I have worked with both and metasploit is by far the superior approach. But I certainly support their efforts and hope it keeps developing. Besides that, there is no similarity. They use existing, pre-compiled exploits to fill out the tree, we use explotis designed specifically for the framework. I prefer our approach for a number of reasons, but its a lot more work to maintain. -HD On Monday 08 October 2007 17:11, Mr Gabriel wrote:
I had a quick look around this site, and it looks like these guys are ripping off metasploit. Is it a fork of the metasploit project? Or was metasploit a fork of exploit tree?
