Thanks to everyone who responded, also in private. I did just want to point out that I do not have access to the system (I am working on nmap data, basically). Otherwise any of the well-known tools you pointed out would have worked :)
I did try to connect to the ports, but couldn't figure out anything of use. The suggestions about peer to peer file exchange tools seem the most probable however. I will check it ASAP. Thanks to everyone for the input !
