After some discussion in here between both the techies, who actively use
honeypots on a daily basis, and the 'non-techies', who more or less
understand them and their value, we feel that option B is a good, clear and
concise definition.

If simplicity is the essence, then I will go with option A.  BTW, 
it is whose not who's :-).
