Sorry for the delay in responding - it's the end of the semester and I'm busy with preparations for Commencement among my other responsibilities. This is very helpful - thanks a lot! In addition to the statement that you sign about locking screens, do you sign a separate confidentiality agreement as well? We also have adopted NIST controls which specify application/screen locks. We are noticing some people not following procedure on this, and we want to take action. What best practices are you using at your institution in terms of the amount of time before a computer locks automatically during inactivity? Thanks in advance for your thoughts on this.
