When using split tunneling, our vpn'd users are unable to utilize some library database services as these databases are
filtered on our known IP addresses. When split tunnel was setup, the connection would be from their ISP ip address and
not the University IP addresses, thus they would not be able to access the resource. We do not use split tunneling for
this reason.

Subject: [SECURITY] vpn split tunnel or no split tunnel

We are architecting a new vpn service on campus and some people want split tunneling and some do not. I am not 100%
sure either way. Anyone have any examples or data that might push me either way?
