Allison, on windows you can use the cipher command to wipe free space on the system. It runs in three passes filling up the entire disk. It is the /w switch with the volume so something like 'cipher /w c:'. You could set this as a scheduled task (no additional software to install). We also recommend eraser and dban to customers depending on their need.
