We do face-to-face training for different aspects of security for end users
(usually October as it is Cyber Security awareness month), visit dorms with
flyers and Q&A sessions, and display posters and presentations during
various events. We have put together http://security.nsu.edu which includes
information and links to tools, presentations, flyers, policies and other
information we thought users would be interested in. We also provide links
to materials other agencies have put together, such as the FTC ID theft site
and videos. In the Commonwealth it is mandatory that all employees go
through security awareness training. We put together an online review and
quiz that requires authentication and tracks those that have taken it. We
put up links to videos that we found interesting.

On occasion, we will get useful tips and post those too.

Subject: [SECURITY] key topics to include in security awareness training
materials

Greetings,

I wanted to send a very general email message to start a conversation on
security awareness. For those of you who have something that you
currently use for security awareness training and dissemination of
information, whether developed in-house or third-party courseware
management platform, could you send a reply and let me know what are the
key topics that you are covering?

Regards,
Tim Cline
