Paul,

I've used Keyscan V (http://www.keyscan.ca/SystemV.htm) with HID Prox
Readers (at 125khz) for controlling physical access to multiple doors
centrally. It seems pretty easy to use from an administrative
viewpoint. If you want to integrate physical security with USB tokens,
you may want to look at newer HID readers at 13.56mhz as those seem to
be better supported than the 125khz readers that I have used with
smartcards.

Nick.

Subject: Physical access control systems

We are researching door access control systems for possible
implementation in a building we are remodeling. I am looking for some
help in identifying potential systems. What door access control
systems
are some of you using? Any information you can provide would be
greatly
appreciated.

Thanks.
