They join campus at the edge, but share bandwidth/routing.

6. Are users authenticated? By what means?Only on registration. Custom registration/worm scan/patch code.

7. Are user machines inspected before connection is allowed?Yes, windows only.8. Are res halls bound by Service Level Agreements / Policies?No SLA. AUP exists.9. What is the guaranteed uptime of res halls (if a guarantee is madeat all)? Not guaranteed, but outages addressed 24x7.
