advice on dissertation IT security

Hi everyone,

I'm in my final year of my bachelor in computer science.
This year I also need to write a dissertation (80-120 pages) on a
computer-related subject.
I'm free to choose which subject as long as it provides some added
value to my general education.

As I'm genuinely interested in IT security, I was thinking of choosing
a topic in this field.
Some subjects that already came into my mind are: IDS/IPS or NAC technology.

I wonder what you think about these subjects, which one would you
prefer? Are there any other subjects you might recommend to write a
dissertation about?
