Not especially - since the real security comes at the CPE and host ends
anyhow and is largely the same regardless of which medium you choose to get
you from CPE to Host (and back).

Let me just throw this out for debate...

Cable splits its up and down traffic, making it more difficult to 
sniff valuable data.  Does this change anything?
