Greetings!
802.11x, etc. I frequently monitor these areas using
NetStumbler but that will only catch 802.11x traffic.
How do I detect the rest of the wireless traffic?

Has anyone heard of a Winkleman device? Wenlkeman or some other
variation of the name.

Haven't heard of it, but I have
heard of, and used RF spectrum analysers.
A good pick for this duty would be something
along the lines of an Advantest U3661.
Wee bit pricey perhaps, but it is not
a simple task, what this fellow is proposing.
