For Microsoft and non-Microsoft applications, you should consult the license agreement accompanying the applicable product or contact the applicable licensor to determine whether use of the product with Remote Desktop, Remote Assistance, or NetMeeting is permitted without an additional license. I have dcom killed on all machines here in my house and file and printer sharing work just fine....as to RA i bet if the windows version is broken i use VNC here and it works without issue..<G>
