Check Point Firewall-1 V4.1 Sp1 (Aka Check Point 2000) support RedHat Linux
6.1 (Intel) with RPM binaries on the CP2000 CD.

Installed - works fine - just be careful of kernel versions.

The idea is that the Linux version of FW-1 replaces the Solaris x86 version.
Good move IMHO.

Dameon works for Nokia, which produces a firewall appliance that runs a
hardened, modified FreeBSD as an OS that they've ported Firewall-1
to. Nice boxes.

As for Linux.. well, I don't see any press releases on Checkpoint's
site. So, uhh.. I guess we have no idea what their plans are regarding
Linux.
