The first thing I tend to do when trying to trouble shoot what ports/what protocols is to fire up a sniffer, and watch two stations that work set up and run thier connections. It's generally a good starting point. However, I've only used the MS-ICA, which works fine on one tcp port. However, I did discover which port by sniffing the connection. I'm sure someone else out there will reply with exactly what to open up. /*-----------------------------------*/ /* I live with FEAR every day. */ /* But, sometimes, she lets me RACE. */ /*-----------------------------------*/ KT Morgan Network Engineer Checkpoint Firewall-1 CCSA/CCSE Microsoft MCP Software Systems Group, Inc On Thu, 26 Aug 1999, Stan Anderson wrote:
I have an IBM eNetwork firewall V3.3. I am trying to open up ICA(Citrix Encryption). I have opened TCP port 1494 and udp 1604, but I can't get connected through the firewall. I can connect over my LAN, so I know the Citrix server, and Client are setup. Is there anything I am missing, or can someone offer me any advise. Thanks, Stan Anderson ICON Health & Fitness, Inc.
