So presumably there will be bug-fix dot-dot releases, such as  
4.0.1/1.0.1, 4.0.2/1.0.2, etc..

What would the next non-bug-fix release be?  4.1.0/1.1.0, with dot-dot  
releases, and then 4.2.0/1.2.0?  Or would an "odd minor version for  
development snapshots, even minor version for releases" scheme be  
useful?  (Wireshark's using the latter model; I have no particular  
preference at this point.)
