Yeah I plan on getting ACID and PHP setup sooner or later.  I am just
using Access as a temp solution.  Besides it may be good for me to have
a query tool that I can use against the SnortDB if I need a special
query that ACID might not provide..

Using ACID with MySQL is a charm and very easy to configure especially
with the Silicondefence white paper for Windows. Mike has done a great
job documenting the procedures

I have been using it for a while now and am getting great results. Also
use the Snortreporter PHP modules. great for consolidation of alerts
