I really enjoyed learning PowerShell by using the Scripting Games format.
While the "competition" isn't currently going, you can look at several
years' worth of challenges (both beginner and advanced), try your hand at
coding a solution, and then checking out actual solutions from various
experts. If it helps, I was absolutely new to PowerShell when I started with
it several years ago, and my very first exposure was the Scripting Games
which just happened to occur when I needed to learn as well.
