Jim has a very good point, check that mail server to make sure it is not accepting the mail. Look at the headers for the source or sources to try and narrow as to who and why they are doing it. If people outside the network needs to communicate with people inside using the company email consider forcing them to vpn into the domain first and block off the mail server from accepting any emails from your domain from the WAN side of the world.
