Hi!

This week has been a lot more productive than the previous weeks, and
hopefully next week will be even better. I've been working with David on
a test battery for Nping, which has proven to be very useful, letting us
identify some bugs and issues to solve before working on any new
functionality. Here are the accomplishments of the week, and priorities
for the next few weeks.

Accomplishments:

* Finished the test battery and added a few improvements like more
detailed stats, cleaner output, better default parameters, etc.
In total, 400 tests were designed.
* The test battery was run a few times by both David and I.
* Listed a few bugs, identified from the test results.
* Had a meeting with David.
* Reorganized "nping-priv" removing some old files, and renaming it to
  nping-dev.
* Removed nping-dev directory from the Nmap tarball generation process.
* Off-the-list dicussion with Greg Skoczek to fix a bug that caused Nping
to segfault with cetain inputs to "--data". Greg produced a working
  patch that was commited.
* Updated Nping's Changelog with the latests contributions and bugfixes.

Priorities:

* Study current status of the code in common.cc, common_modified.cc and any
other relevant source files, and write a complete report on the Nmap/Nping
  code de-duplication process.
* Work on the bugs that were identified as a result of the test battery.
* Schedule a meeting with David.

Regards,

Luis MartinGarcia.
