Hi Guys,

Another slightly off topic post :)

dotNet 3.5sp1 is ~230meg, the reason being that it includes full installs of 2.0 (x86 & x64), 3.0 (x86 & x64) and 3.5
(x86, x64 &ia64) and patches for 2.0sp1 and 3.0sp1 (x84, x64 & ia64).

If you download via Windows/Microsoft Update, you'll only download the parts that are appropriate to your version of
Windows.

Later'ish
Craig

Yes... more bloat... hmmm. At least it wasn't as bad as the latest dot
net framework 3.5 redistributable version which currently weighs in at
at hefty 197Mb!

Thanks for keeping me in the loop, i will download the new version
when it's posted.

On another note, the last time i checked Nmap didn't supported proxies
"out of the box"... any chance you are looking at including that
option in the default distro in the near future?

Keep up the good work. Nmap rocks!

Regards,

Liam
