All that to say- Yes I agree a new Web Based Front end and Relational Database - but would like to see collaboration 
from the forum on
better performing technology for database up dates to the GUI screen that don't require an entire screen refresh?  
Suggestions anyone ( flame away!)

XMLHTTP on the client side like google does, or hidden frame
refreshing data and invoking javascript update functions, both work
great for those slick and subtle refreshes

I don't really much like the Web frontend solution... you'll have to
have a webserver serving pages, don't really much like to install a
webserver just for having an nmap gui, and don't really see the point
in having that kind of dependency. :p
