Hi everyone!

I use nmap on windows and linux both, command-line only on both (as I
don't use GUI on linux and nmapfe on windows is not up to the task,
really). In my opinion,  the focus of the GUi should be towards
automating some tasks, parsing results  and enabling the user to
compare results, as opposed to giving an exhaustive list of all the
options.

The gui could provide a way to make and save scripts for automating
certain tasks, besides coming with it's own pre-made scripts. Scan
results could be shown in a variety of ways, for visual and
statistical analysis. Scan results could be saved so that we could
have a sort of memory: next time I scanned something, I could look up
the previous results and compare them.

A gui should be able to give something extra to the user by the fact
that it has the whole screen to play with and the ability to deliver
information in metaphors (a graphical network "tree", for example),
which is something that the command-line is not up to. The gui should
not be just a command-line substitute, it ends up being a bit
pointless as it can never be as fast as typing :p

Most of this stuff has probably been said already, sorry if I'm
repeating stuff, just my 2 cents :)
