Sigh, this is *exactly* why I should have stayed out of this.  I
hadn't seen much in terms of meaningful conversation before I posted,
just a lot of hand-wringing about the doom about to happen.

The arguments against systemd that I've seen so far:

1) It's different so it's bad.
2) There's a lot of code, there must be some really bad security
problems just waiting to happen, so it's bad.
3) It doesn't do things the way we've always done them, so it's bad.
4) The systemd developers are jerks, so it's bad.

While I don't have infinite amounts of time to read every mailing list
thread or bug report, I have seen quite a few of them.

And I think that a lot of the time, people are forgetting that it's
difficult in email/textual communication to convey emotional subtlety
and that can easily cause problems.
