Interesting tidbit -- thanks!

A couple of other interesting items:

First, perhaps folks should remember the historical gravitas
surrounding this date 699 years ago in 1307: Hundreds of Knights
Templar in France are simultaneously arrested by agents of Phillip
the Fair, to be later tortured into "admitting" heresy.

Also, for the first time ever, the total number of advertized
prefixes in the Weekly Routing Table Report exceeded 200k:

Let's be careful out there! :-)

who dread the number 13, says a German professor: not only will the
date be Friday the 13th, but all the digits in the numeric notation of
the date add up to 13 as well.

Whichever way round the date is written - 13-10-2006 or 2006-10-13 -
the total comes out to 13, a number regarded as “unlucky” by people in
the west who believe in divination by numerology."
