At least until the populace gets an election and throws him out, doesn't
British law *really* grant US intelligence whatever rights Tony Blair is told
to give it by Bush (on orders from whoever is steering the boat, I suspect
Cheney ;)

(And yes, in the US it's the same thing - *realistically*, Bush can do whatever
he wants, until either the Supreme Court or Congress decide to rein him in, or
the populace takes action...)
