Oh yeah, almost forgot, we don't live in a democracy. The above quote
can also be extrapolated from the speeches of the founding fathers on
their thoughts on democracy and socialism.

So things were good with Clinton and that good had nothing to do with
what came before him? Your logic ties me and befuddles me.

But, as I've said here before in other discussions, I'm not a
republican. I don't like republicans. I also don't like liberals and
democrats who take every opportunity to twist logic and history to
make their "enemies" look bad.

So you're still a union member - good for you! You ain't never gonna
let them tell ya your socialist views don't work, you'll gladly keep
paying your "fair share" to prop up the working men and women who
won't work. I don't care! No one cares! As you said, this isn't a
political list - so get off the soap box! You're embarrassing your
peers...in the AARP I mean.
