[snip] A 19-year-old Michigan man who ran a Web business selling retro sports jerseys and recruited a New Jersey teen to carry out computer attacks against competitors pleaded guilty Wednesday to a federal conspiracy charge. Jason Salah Arabo of Southfield, Mich., faces up to five years in federal prison and a fine of up to $250,000 (U.S.). Sentencing is scheduled for Aug. 25. Federal authorities said that in 2004 Arabo, who ran Web-based companies www.customleader.com and www.jerseydomain.com, used on-line instant message conversations to recruit Edison's Jasmine Singh, who was 16 at the time, to electronically bombard other throwback jersey websites including New Jersey-based www.jersey-joe.com.
