i just hate it: everybody and his dog has written an iptable firewall
script. a search for iptables on freshmeat returns 98 hits.

Another one? Buy a CheckPoint Firewall, design a ruleset and convert it into an IPtables script (http://www.wyae.de/software/fw2tux/).

Good flexibility (well, plain script is more flexible), proven GUI - but might miss the point of being a cheap solution, though...
