AFAIK, Netscape (upto 4.06) does _not_ support POP3 over SSL, it will only do IMAP4. This is on both Unix and windows versions :)
(don't think by outlook express either). Eudora may be the only widely-used client that does (although you can't get it for free like outlook express or Netscape messenger, can you?)
There is a free version of Eudora that supports APOP (Eudora Light I believe). Seems strange that such a trivial enhancement has not been incorporated into Netscape still, after all they already have MD5 routines built in for their S/MIME functionality. - Dave.
