Snipe-IT is pretty decent https://snipeitapp.com/ It is a cloud-based inventory system. We use this more for general system (client and server) inventory tracking. Cheap, works. We also have a Netbox https://netbox.readthedocs.io/en/stable/ instance that is also used for "inventory". Though it is more rack elevations, etc, this is more often the best system of record for our server infrastructure. On Wed, Apr 24, 2019 at 9:02 AM Mandi Witkovsky <witkovsm () pfw edu> wrote:
I’m wondering what everyone else is using to gather and maintain a server asset inventory. Manual processes or something automated? If automated, what are you using, what kind of data does it report on, what do you like or not like about the tool? Thanks, mandi
