I believe this applies:

https://www.fcc.gov/guides/childrens-internet-protection-act

We control what campus devices they use, segment the traffic, and have content filtering. In the past we used OpenDNS
for filtering.

This is a very interesting topic. I do believe most institutions offer similar summer programs. It would be interesting
to hear what members of our list have to says. Thanks Jim.

At TCU there is more and more use of our facilities during the summer for children's camps of one sort or another (e.g.
baseball, cheerleading, music). In most cases these are children under 18 and in many cases they are under 13.

Are there legal or compliance issues we need to consider if we provide them with guest network account so they can
access the internet while staying on campus?

If so would it matter if they used the accounts in a supervised classroom setting or unsupervised in a dorm room
overnight?

We do not do any content filtering on our network.

Thanks,
Jim
